why this exists

i'm jonathan. i made this because my person moved away.

we'd been doing two-hour facetimes most nights and kept running out of things to do — neither of us are gamers, the texting got repetitive, and "what'd you do today" loops out fast when you're not in the same room.

so i started building little things. a countdown card. a photo wall we could both arrange. a wordle that synced. then escape rooms, then murder mysteries, then the rest.

this isn't a startup. it's a website i made for one person and decided to share. if you're long-distance too — military, college, immigration, work travel, whatever brought you here — i hope it makes the next call a little softer.
